BondzCamp 2016 held in Pei Chun Public School on 1 June 2016 is an outreach programme organised by our Allied Educators (AEDs) – LBS and our AED – Counsellor. This camp is an annual highlight for our pupils and parents who have been working closely with our AEDs.
The target participants are pupils from P3 to P5 and their parents. This experiential camp provided an excellent opportunity for participants to apply skills and knowledge acquired in their interactions with our AEDs. As usual, we also put in time during the day camp, for our pupils to bond with their parents. It is without a doubt that our parents cherish such opportunities whereby activities are planned and organised for them and all that was needed was their active participation. This year, the day ended with a ‘Father-and-child’ Bowling session at Safra Toa Payoh.
Activities conducted on that day include :
- A talk on ” How to Talk So My Child will Listen” for parents/guardians. The speaker was a professional counsellor from the Fei Yue Family Service Centre.
- “Understanding and Managing Emotions” – a workshop for pupils with interesting and interactive activities conducted by our AEDs
- Bowling session for father and child.
